Happy Sunday everyone!
I’ve decided to start a series where I feature a new skincare product I’ve tried every Sunday.
Do you like this idea?
If so, let me know in the comments below!!
For my first “Skincare Sunday” I’m going to talk about the Simple line.
If you’ve never heard of them before, it’s an affordable brand you can find at Walmart, Target or Walgreens.
The brand calls itself the “sensitive skin expert”.
With some of these products, I believe it!
I use three of these every day and one of these I didn’t like.
I first tried the Simple Foaming Cleanser a couple years ago when I was looking for something for sensitive skin.
The stress of work and wearing makeup for long hours of the day was taking a toll on my skin.
I love this cleanser because, obvi, it’s super gentle on the skin and my skin feels really clean once I wash everything off.
On the label, it even says No harsh chemicals and no artificial perfumes.
It doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or tingling.
It pairs really well with the Cleansing Oil.
I use this when I first start taking my makeup off at night.
As soon as I apply this to my dry skin, I can immediately see my makeup start to melt off my face.
I LOVE THIS STUFF.
By looking at it, it probably looks like I don’t use it much but it takes just a tiny amount to take off everything!! Yes, even waterproof mascara, brow gel.. EVERYTHING.
I use a warm, wet washcloth to wash off the oil and all my makeup before washing my face.
After that, I use the Micellar Water Cleansing Wipes to clean off any other makeup.
Do you ever use remover wipes that make your eyes burn?
Pretty much every wipe I’ve ever tried does that to me.
The Simple wipes don’t burn my eyes!
Simple has several different kinds, but the micellar water ones are my favorite because they’re textured so I feel like they do a better job of taking off EVERYTHING.
The final product is one I’m not really a fan of.
The Cleansing Micellar Water feels pretty much just like water.
Obviously, I’ve used most of it.
I used it for a long time, but used cotton pads and it would take me FOREVER to use enough to take off my makeup.
After I discovered the cleansing oil, I realized what I was missing!
Do you like any of these products or did you find this review helpful?
Is there a skincare product you’d like for me to try/review?
