January Favorites

Hello everyone!!

Normally I would say “Wow.. I can’t believe January is almost over!” but I’m not going to.

This has been the LONGEST month ever.

I don’t know why.. but it has.

Today I’m going to share my favorite beauty products this month.

I want to do a post like this every month where I share the products I used the most.

Let me know if you like this idea in the comments below!!

I also want to share my favorite TV Show and song of the month!

My fav show right now is Shameless!

OMG.. This show makes me laugh/cry/gasp, etc. I’m obsessed!!

I started the show this month and I’m already on Season 3!!

My favorite song this month is “I Feel it Coming” by The Weeknd.

Does this give anyone else Michael Jackson vibes??

M.J. is my all-time favorite artist so I’m loving that song this month.

Okay, now on to makeup.

First up, the Too Faced HangoveRx primer.

This isn’t a product I used just in January but I definitely used it more this month than ever before.

Winter is tough on my skin. It gets so dry!!

This primer adds extra hydration before I put on my foundation.

LOVE this stuff!!

Next is a foundation I tried for the first time this month and I’m in love!

The L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow foundation leaves my skin so dewy and beautiful.

I’ve used L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte for about a year now and it was my all time favorite until I discovered this one!!

I don’t think it’s as long-wearing as it claims to be but it does last at least 6 if I don’t touch it up.

I use powder throughout the day to make sure it stays in place.

I would say it’s medium coverage.

My next favorite this month is the Too Faced Born this Way concealer.

I am OBSESSED with this!!

It’s super hydrating and doesn’t crease (as long as I set it).

I feel like it makes me look more awake and fresh faced every time I use it.

You can definitely tell by looking at it that I use it Every. Single. Day.

Can’t recommend this enough!

Next product I’m loving this month is the Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer.

I bought this a while ago but finally opened it up this month and gave it a try!

It smells like a tropical vacation: a mix of coconut and suntan lotion.

I just love it!!

It’s a light shade, called “Light Bronzer”, just enough to bronze up my fair skin.

It also comes in a darker shade called “Bronzer” but it’s definitely not dark enough for a deeper skin tone.

My next favorite this month is the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter.

If you’re a “Glow to the Gods” type of girl this may not be for you.

This is a great natural, every day glow.

You can barely even see the swatch on my hand but if the light hits you right GURRRRRLL it is beautiful!!!

The best part?! It’s less than $5!

Another favorite this month is the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Space Cowboy.

I love this shadow because it’s a light pinky shimmer shade.

I like to throw in on my lid when I’m in a hurry or throw in on the center of my lid to add a little extra somethin’ to my look.

My favorite lip product is a liquid lippie from the Koko Kollection by Kylie Cosmetics.

When I originally wrote this it was in stock but now it’s not 😦

I hope she makes this a permanent color because it is my perfect, everyday nude!

Last but not least…

My other fave this month is the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting mist.

It can work as a primer, pore-minimizer and setting spray.

This is my ALL TIME favorite!!

It smells like citrus and makes my skin feels so fresh.

  1. I’ve heard so much about the Rainforest of the Sea collection by Tarte and the Born This Way collection by Too Faced!! So many products to try out but don’t wanna go broke #thestruggle! Anyway I picked up a sample of the Born This Way foundation by Too Faced which I heard A LOT about! Maybe the concealer will be next on my wishlist! 😉 Great post btw!
